Need help with bedroom redecorating?

I’m redecorating my room for a kind of tropical, beachy theme. I have very light bamboo floors, beige walls, like the color of sand. I have this bedspread:

i also want to get a green shag rug that matches the bed and looks like this:

i want to get a couch too but i’m not sure what kind? and also i’m getting new curtains so what should that be? i’m thinking like brown wooden ones. oh and my room has a pretty big window with ocean view so that’s why i wanted beach theme.

i think the wooden curtain ideas is a good idea, and then following in that theme i would look for a couch that looks like this one
