At what age did you using pillows and a comforter in the crib/toddler bed?
Sorry…at what age did you start using them?
Betsy… you are the reason I asked this question!! I read one of your other answers where you said you had the converted crib against your bed & we’re making/attempting the switch this weekend.
We’ve always co-slept, so he’s used to using my light-weight blanket and usually my arm as a pillow.
At 20 months we began moving our son out of our bed. He sleeps on his converted crib between our bed and the wall, so we still actually co-sleep but he has his own space. Since we DO co-sleep there have always been blankets-and pillows when he stole mine. We bought him a travel size pillow-it’s abotu 1/3 the size of a regular pillow at aroudn his first birthday. When he moved into his own space, he was given a big boy sheet/comforter/pillow sham set.
EDIT**LOL Then I highly recomend getting him a new set of sheets for his new bed!! We didn’t plan it that way.My mother in law had bought him these and was SO excited to see we were trying out his own bed that she sent father in law back to their house to get them for him. He was so excited over just the new sheets that he slept in his new bed the very first night-well most of the night! It’s only been not wuite 2 weeks now, but he sleeps in his bed every night without any crying or stress for anyone.
