Comforter Definitions -

  1. Bedding made of two layers of cloth filled with stuffing and stitched together
  2. A quilt, usually with a washable cover, that may be used in place of a bedspread and top sheet.
  3. A soft quilt usually filled with the down of the eider
  4. A type of quilt stuffed with feathers, down etc, used on a bed instead of blankets.
  5. A comforter is a quilt that is often used for bedding instead of using a bottom sheet and a top sheet to lie between. Comforters usually have covers that can be easily removed and washed
