That happened to me when I got my heart set on a new theme for my bedroom and part of that was having a black comforter. I was so excited and started getting everything ready straight away. I’m one of those people that can’t wait, so I went to our local department store to get my comforter!
Well, you should have seen some of the looks I was given when I asked for a full size, black comforter set!
Do you want a floral design with that, or how about another color on the flip side….No thanks, just solid black, both sides would do.
Well, they didn’t have any and couldn’t suggest where I could get one, so with my new makeover waiting for me, I hit the net and started searching. eBay ended up being the best option for me…they had a lot of stock and all the standard sizes available.

I have searched all over the net and in the shops for a Tom and Jerry twin comforter and haven’t been able to find one!
I think the franchise is too old now (all the golden oldies are going by the wayside) and no one is making Tom & Jerry stuff anymore.
My kids are still little, and I was surfing on Youtube and showed them some cartoons (which is why they wanted a comforter). They just loved them and it was so nice to see some good old fashioned fun again.

Finding used Disney’s Lion King bedding that is in good, clean condition is probably pretty difficult. I would suggest that your best bet would be to search thrift or ‘op’ shops in your local neighbourhood.
It’s been quite a few years now since The Lion King was released and not as easy to find this merchandise as it once was.

So when I picked up Carol’s book, I looked first to see what she advised (same size). This gave me faith that her other ideas would work well.
Carol’s approach is playful and fun, suggesting that you use different but coordinating fabrics to cover each hard-backed chair in a dining room, or sew panels to hang around your bed. The projects cover a broad range from duvet covers to a variety of pillows to curtains and lamp shades, plus slip covers for futons and even wing chairs.

I mean, let’s face it, you don’t really want to have to put sunglasses on just to walk into your bedroom do you?
I’d suggest to start with neutral color walls, with one feature wall in a lime green (make sure it’s not too bright a green), this will look fantastic with a hot pink zebra comforter.
You can then accessorise with lamps and cushions, curtains/drapes etc to create a real impact, without the colors being too lairy.
