Are you over 6 foot tall? Are you tired of not being able to sleep properly because your bed is too short? Stop despairing...there is an answer.
The California King mattress could be what you're looking for!
The California King measures 72" wide x 84" long and is definitely the bed of choice for taller people. This is slightly narrower than the standard King, but most tall people will happily forgo the width to get the extra length.
When shopping for a new mattress, especially one as big as the cal-king, it is most likely you will also need a new bed to accommodate it. It is therefore very important to measure the size of your bedroom first. Make sure your bedroom can accommodate your new bed before you get carried away and buy it. There would be nothing more devastating than to buy a bed and then not be able to get it into your bedroom. In addition, make sure you have good access into your house/apartment etc. as they can be difficult to manouever due to their size. Some manufacturers also make their king mattresses with hinges so they can be folded to help with moving them. The bed frame should also have the correct center support.
Hand in hand with the new bed and mattress, you will also need to purchase the correct size bedding to suit the california king mattress. Shop around, as there are usually discount bedding sets and ensembles available for purchase or you may even prefer to get the California king bed in a bag. It may also be a good idea to invest in a visco elastic foam mattress topper as well. This will doubly ensure you will get the best sleep you can on your new bed.
Once you have your new bed, you can not only enjoy stretching out, you will have lots of room on Sunday mornings for the kids or pets to jump in and have some relaxing, quality time. Remember, you spend almost a third of your life sleeping, so why not make the most of it and get the best sleep you can.

After having owned a lot of different size beds along with a lot of people in the family,a fewthings when getting sheets and duvets is to 1. check the darn size! 2. Get something that you can stick in the washer machine so not having to go to the dry cleaner. 3. Do spend a bit extra to get higher quality. You spend a lot of time in bed, and it should feel good, plus it adds up when you have to purchase new sheets and comforters constantly.
