Extra-special California Wine Country getaway
Everyone loves Eureka moment when they occur in a special getaway – the "discovery" that had not waited long enough. With all the hype you read in brochures and travel through creative writing that finds its way to the Internet, it is satisfying when you stumble a place that is, in fact, as well as – or better than – advertising.
Such is the case of these two properties in California Wine Country.
Paso Robles
Perched on a hill near Highway 101, La Bellasera Hotel and Suites may seem like the road as it is only a small modern hotel with an easy starting point – a place on the way to somewhere else. But a little closer and realize that someone spent a lot of money to create a true luxury hotel. Using a blend of Mediterranean architecture Italian, this hotel is really out.
It is one of those hotels that almost overwhelms the senses upon entering the lobby with its marble floors and Roman columns support a balcony with iron railings pseudo flourished in an environment of high ceilings. The feeling is a classic and contemporary, with special attention to lighting Task sofas and elegant, but comfortable hotel. On one side of the room, wrought iron doors open for wine wine, while nearby is the input locally known hotel Enoteca Restaurant & Bar, which quickly became known as the place of a meal in the immediate area.
Our suite two rooms on the broader issue deluxe rooms, including a room with Jacuzzi tub for three people who had built a brick base and placed in a corner where the paint colorful murals added the illusion that our tub was looking for in a Mediterranean coastal village. Once again, the Roman columns have been used to complete the illusion. Across the room was a cabinet-style bar and a bar with glass door and the wall, very high plasma TV Definition format. There was also a small flat screen TV in the bedroom and two king size beds, a desk and a desktop computer.
We could go to things such as signature bedding, high thread linen, luxury bath products, the availability of spa services or in the bedroom or in your treatment in a special room – But we think you get the idea. The quiet town of Paso Robles is now a luxury option for most pampered customers.

Napa
A visit to Napa is not just a chance to see if the wine is made, or to explore boutiques and stores that have now found their place in the smaller communities in the Valley of Napa. Instead, a trip to the valley is almost a spiritual journey that presents both with the beauty of 63,000 acres of vineyards and the industry that brought European elegance and lifestyle of the valley.
With 75,000 inhabitants, the city of Napa has become a small city in its own name and a name synonymous with California wine. If you want to be based in Napa during your stay, there are many options for an experience unforgettable. The latest we've sampled – and a place they consider a "Find" due to its outstanding restaurant – is the Westin Napa Veras. Hugs station along the Napa River, and is three blocks from the shopping center houses numerous arts, music, bars and other attractions located in downtown Napa. The address is also in the first place because the river walk along the banks of the Napa River, and in this case, the right of our series on the first floor.
As Westin name suggests, the Versa Napa Westin has to do with a high quality experience. Our suite was like a small unit condominium with a full kitchen – with the latest in color styles, too – and an open room with dining room and contemporary living room and a bedroom with a king-size bed. Wall-mounted plasma TV Room were "large" and the bedroom. The bathroom with its generous use of marble was small, but elegant.
While the river outside of our signs suite – and we really enjoyed relaxing on a private terrace, watching the calm waters and runners and walkers as we watch the way – the highlight of our stay was to be the we had dinner La Tuque, the renowned French restaurant right on the property. He was named one of the best restaurants in the United States and has won numerous culinary awards, and were no doubt curious to see what all the fuss was about.
It did not take long to realize. We sat at a table that was private, but had a good view of the restaurant's kitchen "show" where the cooks and servers were running to do the things you see on cooking shows are so popular these days. The main contractor, explained that this restaurant is a little different – you can choose courses from two, three or four and that will give parts of the game. So if you choose two, you get a great deal, choose four, and each one is smaller.
The menu is divided into four sections and many guests choose another – but not required. You can choose all meat dishes, if desired. The options were incredible, and issues such as seared foie gras with bacon, toasted brioche Craft and Medjool dates (the foie gras better than we had) or West Texas Nilgai "Antelope leek and potato terrine and grilled vegetables Black Trumpet root and red wine reduction, or Florida frog legs with garlic puree fresh green salsa and tomato confit.
Because in California Wine Country, there are other things to think about – what wine you drink with these delicious. This is where the experience completely transcended anything that had before – if you want something special, ask for wine pairings for each of their courses.
With wine, not only give you a different wine for each course – can also get an education. The sommelier at La Toque is very knowledgeable about wines from all regions, not only Napa. With each cast you get a detailed explanation of wine making wine, and why it is next to the entry you have chosen.
