For reading and religious prayer and living the spiritual life

I'll say, and tell those I know some of my thoughts on prayer and contemplative prayer in general. I want to make a statement to encourage young people to think in God, and to consider entering the ministry. You may be smart enough to read long sentences in this I wrote below. I used the new revised standard version of the Bible (Oxford), and the Bible (Doubleday) in the composition of some of these thoughts. I am grateful to the dean of Grace Cathedral, Alan Jones, on reading the full script of the book The Cloud of Unknowing. His style of play very remarkable and instructive. And a voice that is Easy listening. The soundtrack is available in the gift shop of Grace Cathedral, 1055 Taylor Street, San Francisco, California. There are two bands in total. Dean's voice is a comfort to its listeners, so you can find listening to the tape background noise for the successful development in.

Another thing to know about me: I am an oblate New Camaldoli, and has a hermitage in Big Sur, California, which is worth seeing. It is south of Santa Lucia on Highway 1. They are the Benedictine monks, and forward Vatican II. Here is a book for recommended reading: Love in the mountains by Robert Hale. This is the Chronicle Journal of a monk and Camaldolese It is available in the Library of Hermitage, Immaculate Heart Hermitage in Big Sur, California 93 920. There are other interesting titles from the publisher including one that shows the where monasteries and houses are in the United States. You can get this book to visit some of these places beautiful, peaceful and sacred. Travelers will find especially interesting. The Editorial: Supply, PO Box 794, Trabuco Canyon, CA 92 678.

Here is the text about God and myself and others and prayer:

The mystery of the presence of God as the life of Christ is at our disposal prayer. San Benito wrote a rule about prayer. The rule says: "During these periods, therefore, we should sing praises to the Creator for his fair trial …" We in the office every day in the morning and afternoon. The Rule of St. Benedict is a little book that illustrates some of the things we know about God. Mainly it's about staying in the Spirit of the Almighty, and Learning About the righteousness which is of a relationship with the Triune God. Most of the thoughts of God and of Christ and the Holy Spirit of San Benito, and Rule, clarifies what he is. You are encouraged to buy the book for some time and read it. Young people who are interested to live a life of prayer, or to live with God in their lives, especially those who wonder what it feels like to be called by Christ, and the introduction Rule to find a better life. You'll join many others throughout the decades have also shared an interest in knowing what God is calling them to do in their lives. The young people who feel that life in the service of his church will discover through prayer, is able to discern what the Spirit says to them. Surprisingly, many people who know God agreed that a regular prayer life is useful to stabilizing their lives with others.

We share God through Christ, and in this book of quotations from the Bible, you will find an introduction to Christ's message of Trinity at home. Through regular prayer, an introduction to the contemplation of the creation of a fair trial in the construction world, man, and our life is appreciated. In the living Christ is with you. It is in contemplation of the triune God, through Christ, is to be with others in worship with the gift of memory. In the daily practice of prayer, We appreciate the reminder of the community in Christ.

John 1:18

"Nobody has ever seen God. It is the only Son, who is within the Father, who has made known. "(Meister Eckhart, quoted his writings.)

This is the live food that is available in prayer and the presence of the church where they offer the sacraments. This comes to know Christ through worship that is a joy is a discipline developed. It is through the food the will that we are able to do what the Lord wants it, because he is "the will of him who sent me" Sought through attention we give to Christ. The kingdom of God comes to us in the ministry updated within minutes of prayer each day, and the completion of this work may take several months to begin to attend the harvest. You will be able to say when you look around and see that the days are ripe for harvest because it is given to Christ in the Spirit Bear on a daily basis. This common experience of ecstasy in a Triune God throughout this home is a maturing of the mind. We are told in John 4 "The reaper is already receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life: that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice."

How can we enter the doors of houses and the worlds that are available to us in the Spirit and serving others as future members of the clergy? How can we and lay support and live our lives as Christians church in the collector per day at home is the offering of the spirit? We do not practice and with the grace of God. This grace is something that is a gateway to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, a road near the sky that is a start for the willing participant in prayer. Considering Christ as spiritual community of our lives, we join with others in a work, and John tells us directly, "… you have entered into their work."

During the rest of Christ because the man is a carnal lighted inspired by the divine birth and inculcated with the blessing of God that God in man, even then, he is at work brings us to the fold. When he visited the Samaritan woman and told her that the life he has led water, the result has Samaritans were the others began to come to him to ask him to stay with them. This desire for faith, hope in the unseen, and the belief in the future in the Spirit, is a gateway for us to begin to recognize that the reality is the gift of God is at our disposal the recognition of our own poetic silence. You can find the fixed point of our experience in the world and within ourselves through the reading of the Scriptures, and the practice of prayer in the morning and evening.

Prayer gives us comfort know that the Savior of the world is at our disposal for a moment in question, when you can speak freely to God with a franchise that allows even for parties more authentic freedom has given us. This results closer to the Savior of our most intimate sanctuary, private thoughts and desires is part of what life is about prayer. It is the memory, the memory of things, people and events that have happened. We can enter into many rooms, many places, the doors of many of today in prayer. We remind our friends, their voices, their activities the day or week or last year in our prayers. Thanks to this memory as an experience to remember and because it is a gift of grace that allows us to enter the still points. Through Christ, we enter into the knowledge of God the Father and the Holy Spirit enlightens us with a continuous expression of new words found on page of the sentence might read, or words of prayer, we can say.

The lack of knowledge of this practice is the essence of the experience. Call this spiritual exercise, an abandonment to Christ in the worship of the nature of desire of love, is the sweetness of the Lord. To give ourselves in this way participate in white water is the thirst of love that beats dear and close to reveal that we are children of God. Christ is ready to be with us in their moment of privacy and intimacy, allowing us to be a unifier of the fruit for eternal life. To make this meal a celebration with others in sharing life and laughter and pain that is with other people in the community is part of the life of prayer. We practice this kind of prayer with others, and reminds me. To this end, with others as ourselves, to remember we're still in the presence of Christ.

The greatness of a life of prayer comes to us as we develop into a place with the Lord so that we know he is the Savior of the world. The act of running toward the heavenly homeland, a time to run the race of life and not delay. Although others before us, and meet with them, and they have worked, and into his work, as Christ says in John, being with them is part of the gift God offers in the redemption of Christ, his son.

Matthew 11:27

"All things have been delivered by my Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal. "

Researchers have found the Lord to Capernaum where he was to look (after the loaves and fishes were distributed the crowd that had gathered to watch it). In prayer, we eat the bread of life from one week another, the celebration and preparation every day of the collection is the memorial and sacrifice on Sunday. In celebration of prayer, whatever practiced in the state of mind can be either the state of our lives, welcoming way to get to the Father in the Son. "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst. "(John 6:35).

Several times during the prayers of other thoughts enter our minds. They are views and considerations, concerns and memories of the day or people in our daily lives. Is the substance of life that is the revival of prayer. Search this revelation and rise with him. Join this all that is given to the Son by the Father. In one mode of contemplation, be aware of the joy that is available and come through it, remember that Christ himself is that we offer. "… Anyone who comes to Me I will never drive …" (John 6:38).

The need to breathe deeply in the bread of life is food for everyday life, renewal and healing in opening oneself to God in itself is all that expect to receive. In our state of ignorance faith in our willingness to work through, or joy, or moments of relaxation and rest, we continue to seek and find a place to rest in Christ every day.

The will of him who sent Christ is that he loses any of us. Be assured that by keeping in mind the availability and a loving desire of the psyche to be with the beloved, the husband can enter another room or another place of many mansions that make up a mountain to climb. In this gift of peace, and that welfare Spirit, be focused and open to receiving the Lord. How powerful is the experience of prayer is the knowledge was said in private that the word comes from the wind of the Holy Spirit as a presence, but is also the time to witness the great pleasure of the Living Word in the Scriptures.

The Father is revealed in the flesh and the presence in the mind of Christ, believers and that Christ would be. Who can be a mystery. Entering this mystery will enjoy reading the scriptures daily, or the pleasure of hearing the sound of another reading aloud a passage or a selection of books of the Bible. In the church, or friends in the Communion of writing use or distribution of a friendship in Christ is a spiritual experience to know the love of God that comes through and for us of our faith in Christ. With this act, the community, whether alone or with others, share the mystery of a promotion without knowing in a world that is sent from heaven, and gifted as a thank for recognition of the Trinity knows that remain.

In this cult, or recognition of the light that is the way to membership of the ascension into heaven, we can recognize that this bread from heaven. In this age and the age to come, there may be a leaven of the Spirit of Christ in our actions and good deeds for others. We may be leaving us to the goodness of the spirit of the Father, and the presence of the Trinity at the world through the daily exercise of the promise the Lord gives us.

He is attracted to the Father who sent Christ, and the last day I will rise. At that time, and this trying to enter more deeply into the spiritual, to participate in the seminar or to become a pastor and other pastors minister this lifestyle that is so abundant, you may find that you have heard and learned from the Father, who came Christ. In our gratitude for this historic act of the human dimension given by God for the redemption of the world, thanks to a mystery of creation when the world began, we become Christ. This mode of eternal life. "I am the living bread that came down from heaven. He who eats this bread will live forever and the bread that I give for the life of the world is my flesh. "(John 6:51).

Speaking of good words to others, and when it comes to silence, and the wisdom to know that there are estimated for silence. Be alert to remind you there are things and words to be said. Enter this matter with others, and the practice of listening to the heart, an ear attentive and receptive presence. In this receiver the other, and receive the Spirit, we receive Christ.

In the Rule of St. Benedict the writer appeals to the wisdom of the saints and their gifts in Christ to "confront them in the ear of your heart. It is the opinion of a father who loves you receive it, and faithfully implemented. "(Prologue, Rule of St. Benedict).

Be sure to ask others, especially one that is larger, for a blessing. This recognition and demand for the acts or words of blessing is a way to keep the Ten Commandments. "It is wrong witness against your neighbor. "(The Book of Common Prayer). The practice of virtue is a good reward, and entry into service of the Lord as a pastor, a priest or monastic life is a good start toward perfection. Seek holiness. Look carefully. Find Christ. Be present in the living God who is present at all times, and remember that we live in the sight of the Lord with the gift of the Trinity. Every day is a day which the Lord, which he liked.

Rv. 2:17

"Let anyone with ears to hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. To everyone who conquers I will give hidden manna and will give him a white stone and white stone is written a new name that does not know except him who receives. "

What is the word we have received through prayer or practice of living, walking, playing sports, to do our job, talking with friends and family in the knowledge of what we do in the light and the eyes of God? It is a spirit. How can we discern the Spirit of the Lord gives us the Trinity dwelling? It is a sense of ourselves in the Beauty and the gift of the Lord. This tells us that comfort we are children of God and wanted, as we move towards the Kingdom of God, a sense of self and wellbeing. It's here. Discerning the Spirit's gift. Living in the knowledge that Christ is good and loves us as he gives gifts to us so that we can get our name and the white stone on which we his facts, as we have the life of a Christian. This is an important dimension to the living soul who speaks and who has experience in the fire of a furnace that is the Spirit Santo. The Spirit speaks to churches, and listen to the Spirit when we gather to pray.

Those who feel a vocation to the priesthood or working life in the service or as a volunteer in the Christian community going to do by gains in others, knowledge of the hidden manna, which comes through the Eucharist and the Word of life of the Scriptures. These are written in the wind, and how the wind did not know God's ways are not our ways.

This ignorance come to the neighborhood to find a foothold or to grab a rock or sit in that we appreciate and look fear in the majesty of God which lives wrapped. These eyes are our in the Spirit, the truth teller is still a comfort to the end, is the awareness that we live in a universe that is good, and a world that God created for us come and be with him. We hope his coming glory.

The Spirit is working in the world and the Church even today. "The Spirit Ghost is the Third Person of the Trinity … "He has spoken through the prophets and the creation of the world was revealed that we can get to the truth that we can get this manna hidden, which is a good food. As we grow in the likeness of Christ, we recognize that in our confession of Jesus Christ as Lord, we are in harmony Trinidad permanently. There is a harmony of love, a vocation and a gift that is true love and be closer to a shared passion of religious experience over many generations and ages through known and unknown people, people remember and people who are not saved. Prayer helps us to be placed in the state immediately that the justice of God's gifts to us. During our reading Scripture daily or weekly, it is important to recognize the resonance of truth that brings us the word, and before us in their thoughts, whispers, wishes and all that is good in us or our thoughts.

Something good will come of our agreement with the Scriptures, and in our attempt to be ready to be with others in the community so that the word can be studied and restored to life in us. This trinity is one God: Father, Son and Holy Santo. This wonderful God that ours is a movement and strength of eternal life in the world was made by God in Christ to the world's creation. Everyday experience revelation through the liturgy of our times of prayer and for most of our time in the church. (The Easter liturgy and the Apocalypse by Massey H. Shepherd, Jr., Ecumenical Studies in Worship, 1960.)

If we seek and strive to become a priest, or you have talked to a friend or a minister, or in our study group on some of the mysteries that lead us in a call to be part of Christian life and the sensitivity of the Spirit is a good indication that the Holy Spirit and the richness of life is with us and between us. What a wonderful mystery of having a white stone with the secret of our name in it so that each one of us knows that we are a treasure with a gift from God. Here you can find the gift of the cross, and the way of the cross is part of life and passion of chaste obedience and Christ – who, in his gentle and know how a man born of Mary in the flesh of a man, sharing with us in tears, toil and suffering we live in our own lives. This gift of God, as a redemption of the world is a mystery of everyday life and the revelation of the Bible lived in the liturgy of the day of the week between Sunday and prepare again for the church on Saturday. Here is the entry point to the life of a Christian and religious life. This kind of life can resume all days and again every week. Thus, we obtain a hidden manna that we can proclaim the nature of the Incarnation and of God as Trinity. "If you ask me my name something, I will. "(John 14:14).

Thomas asked the Lord how we know the road. Jesus said that He is the Way, the truth and the life. Thanks to him we can find satisfaction of the Father, namely, the Father and be with Christ and see, as you can talk about life in Christ, we are able to recognize Christ is in the Father and the Father is in Christ. This remains the epiphany of Christ is the light that comes after Christmas, a proof that the promise and the glory of God in the redemption of came into our world. Faith as small as a mustard seed is what is required, and only faith to continue in the way that we can love him and keep the commandments of Christ. Christ has promised that he will ask the Father for us to give us another attorney, who will be with us forever. "This is the Spirit of truth, whom the world can not receive because it neither sees him nor knows. "

As children of God, we have been promised that Christ will come to us and live with us because they live in it as well. The summary of the law is one of the gifts that Christ gives us, and we renew our implementation of this abstract: you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. The new commandment is that love one another as Christ loved us.

Jn 14:10

"No I do not think I am in the Father and the Father me? The words I speak, I speak not of mine but the Father who dwells in me does his own work. "

There is an old argument that John 6:52 directions, and is literally living abroad, eating the flesh of Jesus Christ. We share our lives in suffering and trial, the festival, and the light of the Son of man, because they do not eat meat, drink blood, and therefore of his life in us. Through this participation in the mystery of faith in the wine and bread drink the real life continues. Those wishing to stay in Christ, that can and will fulfill them, for the living Father has sent. Prayer prepares us to embrace this spiritual desire and meat community, which in this life and the other allows us to live a Christian life. In this spirit to embrace and join with others in the worship experience that people are becoming the embodiment of the body so that we can be to the Father by him. Eating this food, and participation in activities and the living presence of Christ gives us. So We can reach it. "It is the spirit that quickens, the flesh is useless. The words I have spoken are spirit and life." (John 6:63).

In conclusion an interlude

We have in total in all the wounds of Christ in the Song of Songs by silent prayer and the noblest of prayer, So "I Must Be Sol" for why God has the joy and rest, and where beauty comes from love. The greater the happiness of love, more. This is Rosa, the source hidden splendor of God everywhere.

"In our prayers for you, we thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Enter contemplation of God and the practice of his respect and good works, we can continue to enter the double doors. In our current era, we are experiencing many trials that is difficult to know what it means to enter the sheepfold by the door. In the way of contemplation, simply recognizes that the Christian can go one way different when the guard opened the door for him. When we hear others tell us that we are on track, or when we have the sense that we are on the right path, this Concord type is a useful indication that we are with the Lord. Questioning authority, and test the spirits, Looking at the side and see how awake in this practice to see who is ahead of one is a good way to determine when we are doing the right thing.

The church itself is a source for the types of classes we will keep a track abroad or who have fled the goalkeeper when we do a more difficult question is a good indication that we are in a place that needs another look. In a spiritual sense, means that the most discerning minds to recognize that Jesus is listening. It is the door through which we enter into the experience of Triune God, which is the freedom we seek. In this grass, we can be confident in our go for it so we can be saved. As a good shepherd, Christ gives his life for his sheep. Do not stop when the wolf is running, or when the wolf snatches them and scatters the sheep.

There is only one flock, one shepherd, and he has been and is willing to give his life to take it again for us. "No I take it off, but I lay it down of myself." (John 10:17). This constant will give the longest life in the mind, and ready for the care, attention, and be in friendship with others is an indication that we are receptive to the spirit. We can enter the power to fix our time and treasures for the power or take our time and treasures again. By this we mean that we can commit ourselves as individuals in our daily work to keep Christ before us, and we can in our daily struggle to start over and renew our efforts to be ready in mind and in our actions to continue our lives as Christians.

For those looking to be leaders, to lead others to care for them, to help them enter the he must be willing to be present to each other. In this community of Christian practice, we will persevere. We will continue to follow Christ to worship, adore, obey, love and be present in the Triune God. "Whoever enters through me will be saved, and getting in and out and find pasture." (John 10:9)

The participant of the sacraments, we enter the mystery of the sacrifice that the body of Jesus Christ is an offering by the will of God. Living this life is to be judged, and time tired and time limits in the flesh. This is a real life in this world. No one can avoid the necessity of aging or pain, or disappointment. Continuing on the road of Christ, we enter into our heavenly reward, and accelerating to the heavenly home.

Through the practice of humility, as we can people us to participate in the monastic private love of God, played by ascending through the adoption of measures of good habit and delight in virtue. The Rule of Saint Benedict describes seven stages of humility that leads us through the love of God which casts out fear.

This level of humility is the same as Jacob saw in a dream, and practicing the steps of rising Thus we have before us the recognition that can be with God.

The first step is to keep the fear of God before our eyes. Living in the presence and sight of God.

The second step is to do the will of God, in imitation of the actions and living the life of Christ as revealed in the Scriptures and described.

Third step of humility is obedience to others who work with them or question, undergo a higher spirit and the Christian faith. This means staying awake, doing, and thus we will not be locked in step and advance other blindly without a road wrong.

The fourth step of humility is to persevere and the courage of heart and trust the Lord. There is a reward from God to come.

The fifth step of humility, is recognized for our sins and other defects or errors, injustices and the media. Doing these things knows that the Lord in prayer, and self-examination same every day. Using the Decalogue is a good way to examine your life, the Ten Commandments are a gift from God. Remember not to, confessing to the Lord, the Lord is good and his mercy endureth for ever.

The sixth step of humility is nothing but himself and many of those lives to be where we are in life and the life of the living while in the present. God is with us where we are if we recognize this fact or not, Christ is with us at any time. Be with the Lord always remember that it is present, and it is in you and you're at it.

The seventh step of humility is that it is a blessing to be so humiliated we can learn God's commandments, and live in the manner of holding a view that we are, but Human and transient as the grass that withers, but the Lord is from age to age.

The eighth stage of humility is that we follow the common rules of the Community, the Community or the monastic or religious. This can sometimes be difficult, and in doing so, we must live with others and find our way. It takes a special kind of humility and often requires the example of those who are above us to practice.

The ninth step Humility is to talk in a way that avoids the sin, which is not a torrent of words. Check the language provide others with encouragement and better things, instead of the deviation of misleading others is a constructive way to practice this type of humility.

The tenth step of humility is to maintain a sense of humor with ourselves and others, as we can love others and ourselves.

The eleventh step of humility is to speak softly, modesty and reasonableness that is sincere to others. Practices to be serious in the well, and talk about what kind of words to say the least of them. This is called being "a few words." The twelfth step of humility is to continue a trip so bearings allows other know that we are willing to listen smart, and that others can recognize that it is willing to be a person who lives with humility. The modesty of this kind of practice is important because is in love that makes this such humility. It is good habit and delight in virtue of the increase being in the presence of God, a joy and a willingness to reflect on Psalm 95.

As a guide morning, Psalm 95 is a good guide to living a life in the presence of God, which begins in humility, in the presence of Lord. This is a psalm that allows our hearts to establish and dance and walk in the joy of life that God has given us. So it is so important to keep life prayer. Persevere.

Come, let us sing to the Lord;

Leave a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Come before his presence with thanksgiving

And raise a cry to Him with psalms

For the Lord God is great,

And a king above all gods.

In his hand are the caverns of the earth,

And the heights of the mountains are his.

His is the sea, because he does,

And his hands have molded the dry land.

Come, bow, and bend the knee,

And on his knees before the Lord our Creator

For he is our God,

And we are the people of his pasture, the sheep of his hand.

Oh, that today you hear his voice!

Do not harden your hearts

Like their ancestors did in the desert

At Meribah, and on the day of Massa

When I tempted.

They test

Although they had seen my works.

For forty years I hated that generation and said:

"People are lost in their hearts;

they do not know my ways. "

, I swore in my wrath,

"They should not enter my rest. "

Today is January 26, 2000, Timothy and Titus, Paul co

Lectionary reading: Matthew 24:45-51

Who is the faithful and wise servant whom his master took over his house to give the other slaves their allowance of food in due season? Blessed be the slave whom his master is at work when it arrives. Verily I say unto you, which is responsible for all goods. But if that evil servant says, "My master is delayed, and begins to beat to his fellow slaves and eat and drink with drunkards, the lord of that servant will come a day when he did not expect him and at that do not know. Will be cut pieces and place with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Last good Sunday: I Corinthians 7:17-23

Either way, that each of you lead the life that the Lord has entrusted to which God has called you. It is my rule in all the churches. Had someone at the time of your call and circumcised? Not try to remove the marks of circumcision. If anyone had at the time of his call uncircumcised? It does not seek circumcision. Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but the obedience of the commandments of God is eveything. May each of you remain in the state in which you were called.

Were you a slave when called? Do not worry. Even if you win your freedom, make use of their present condition now more than ever. For he who has been called in the Lord as a slave is a person belonging to free the Lord, as he was free when called is a slave of Christ. You were bought at a price, do not become slaves of human masters.
