My bed is a king in California, but the mattress is a king. How I can choose a comforter and sheets for this?

It has a large bedroom in a series of craigslist, but the mattress and box spring are not the same …. Thanks for any help! if I buy a Cal-king duvets, will be short Furthermore, sides?
