Nicholas Evans, born July 26, 1950 in Broomsgrove, Worcestshire, England, is an English journalist, screenwriter and television producer and director.
He was educated at school and Broomsgrove before studying at Oxford University, he worked in Africa with the charity Voluntary Service Overseas. Studied journalism and worked as a journalist, screenwriter and television news.
His first novel, "The Horse Whisperer" with 15 million copies contained in the list of best-sellers of all time. It became a hit movie in 1998 starring Robert Redford, with and handle, and also stars Kristin Scott Thomas, alongside Scarlett Johansson and Sam Neill.
Nicholas Evans has written three best-selling novels: "The Loop" (1998) "The Bridge of Smoke" (2001) "Fracture (2005)
